Write a one- to two-page that discusses some social effects of discrimination for a specific marginalized group. Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:

1. Describe the historical context of discrimination against the marginalized group you chose.
   1. What historical events demonstrate discrimination toward this group?
   2. Are there laws in the past that impacted this group?
2. Explain the historical context of the intersection of the group you chose with race, gender, disability, and/or socioeconomic status.
   1. What historical events demonstrate the overlapping of your chosen group with race, gender, disability, and/or socioeconomic status?
3. Describe how the overlap of race and gender complicates modern dialogue of issues relating to your chosen group.
   1. What are current examples of how race and gender negatively impact the modern dialogue of your chosen group’s issues?
